S - C Triumphal arch, showing the front, with a wreath hung across it, surmounted by the emperor in facing quadriga accompanied by Pax and Victory, flanked by two soldiers; statue of Mars in side niche; the faces and plinths of the arch are ornamented with elaborate reliefs showing battle scenes. BMC 333. CBN 140. Cohen 309. RIC 500. A lovely coin with a beautifully detailed reverse. Minor smoothing and with a small area of weakness on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
